Venky`s (India) standalone quarterly profit surges 90.70%

Venky's (India) said a sharp rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 90.70% to Rs 198.90 million from Rs 104.30 million in the same quarter previous year. Net sales for the quarter declined marginally 1.05% to Rs 4,504.10 million, compared with Rs 4,551.70 million for the prior year period. Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 21.17, registering 90.55% growth over previous year period.
