Wipro, one of the leading software exporters, has decided to issue and allot 44,539 equity shares of Rs 2 each pursuant to exercise of the stock options by the eligible employees under Restricted Stock Unit Plan 2005 and Restricted Stock Unit Plan 2007.

Shares of the company declined Rs 0.45, or 0.08%, to trade at Rs 535.25. The total volume of shares traded was 21,504 at the BSE (10.12 a.m., Thursday).
