Vascon Engineers said Tuesday the company has received an engineering procurement and construction (EPC) order worth Rs 286.11 million from Uttar Pradesh Housing & Development Board for construction of multi storied residential finished flats (including all developmental work inside the campus), in Lucknow.

Earlier, the company's board proposed issue of equity shares on rights basis for an amount not exceeding Rs 1 billion in the ratio of 14 rights shares for every 19 equity shares held as per the Record Date of Jun. 24, 2015.

The company is engaged in conceiving, developing, constructing and managing varied projects. The company is active in multiple sectors including residential, industrial, information technology (IT) parks, malls and multiplexes, hospitality and community.

Shares of the company gained Rs 1.45, or 8.03%, to trade at Rs 19.50. The total volume of shares traded was 58,904 at the BSE (1.56 p.m., Tuesday).
