V-Mart Retail, a medium-sized hypermarket retail company, announced that the company has opened a new store located at Hussainganj, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

The store is spread in an area of 10000 sq. ft. This is the 50th store in the state of Uttar Pradesh across 39 cities. With this we have increased the tally of the state to 16 composite stores and 34 fashion stores. This takes the total number of stores to 105 in 88 cities across 12 states with a total area of 8.54 lakhs sq.ft.

Shares of the company gained Rs 11.95, or 2.22%, to trade at Rs 551.40. The total volume of shares traded was 901 at the BSE (3.10 p.m., Monday).
