Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL), a leading global EPC player in power and infrastructure contracting sector announced that JMC Projects (India), has secured new orders worth Rs 12.62 billion. Of the total Rs 12.62 billion, orders worth Rs 4.31 billion were bagged in March 2021 while the remaining orders worth Rs 8.31 billion were secured in April 2021 till date.

The company has bagged building projects in India of Rs 10.59 billion. It has also bagged a water project worth approximately Rs 2.03 billion in Maldives.

Commenting on securing new orders, S. K. Tripathi, CEO & deputy managing director, commented, "We are delighted with the new order wins in our buildings and water business. The international order in the water business is a milestone in our growth journey and marks our entry in Maldives for the first time. The order in Maldives reinforces our thrust to diversify in the international EPC market. The orders in our buildings business are a testament to our ability to deliver projects to the highest satisfaction of clients. Our total order wins for 2020‐21 were around Rs 79 billion, giving us confidence to deliver good growth in 2021‐22."

Shares of the company declined Rs 14.95, or 3.88%, to trade at  Rs 370.25.  The total volume of shares traded  was  21,755 at the BSE (11.38 a.m., Monday).
