JSW Steel said a steep drop in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended December 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 29.49% to Rs 3,289.40 million from Rs 4,664.90 million in the same quarter last year. Net sales for the quarter declined marginally 2.93% to Rs 132,229.50 million, compared with Rs 136,227.70 million for the prior year period. Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 13.26, registering 30.06% decline over previous year period.
