Infosys to acquire Kallidus for USD 120 mn

Infosys, India's second biggest software exporter, said Friday the board of directors has approved the definitive agreement to acquire Kallidus Inc. (d.b.a Skava) and its affiliate, for a consideration of USD 120 million including a deferred component and retention bonus.

The company also approved the definitive agreement for an early-stage investment of USD 2 million in Airviz, to acquire a minority share.

Further, the board approved the transfer of the business of Finacle and EdgeServices to the company's subsidiary- EdgeVerve Systems.

Shares of the company declined Rs 115.75, or 5.45%, to trade at Rs 2,006.80. The total volume of shares traded was 1,264,062 at the BSE (2.50 p.m., Friday).
