IL&FS Transportation Networks today said that MP Border Checkpost Development Company, a subsidiary of the company, which had been mandated the development of 24 Border Checkposts by the MP Road Development Corporation has been issued provisional completion certificate to commercially operate one more checkpost namely, Balaghat Gondia Border Checkpost.
This is in addition to the existing 2 Central Control Facility (CCF Gwalior and CCF Indore) and 16 Border Checkposts already in operation.
These include Agra-Mumbai, Indore-Ahmedabad, Shivpuri-Kota Betul-Nagpur, Indore-Icchapur, Mhow-Neemuch, Jabalpur-Jaipur, Seoni-Nagpur, Chindwara-Nagpur, Kabir-chabutra, Sagar-Kanpur, Ujjain-Jhalawar, Sendhwa-Khetiya and Venkatnagar, Naugaon-Jhansi & Sagar - Lalitpur for which Provisional Completion Certificate has already been issued and under commercial operations as of date.
"The project is fee based with a concession period of 12.5 years," the company added.
Shares of the company declined Rs 2.75, or 3.02%, to trade at Rs 88.20. The total volume of shares traded was 25,522 at the BSE (1.20 p.m., Friday).
