Hero Motocorp announced a substantial rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2015. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 33.33% to Rs 7,503.40 million from Rs 5,627.60 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter declined marginally 1.16% to Rs 69,552.60 million, compared with Rs 70,368.40 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 13.59 percent as compared to 9.32 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 9,448.90 million, compared with Rs 6556.8 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 37.57, registering 33.32% growth over previous year period.

Shares of the company gained Rs 23.4, or 0.87%, to settle at Rs 2,697.85. The total volume of shares traded was 68,635 at the BSE (Monday).
