Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) said that the corporation allotted 8,67,535 equity shares of Rs 2 each, pursuant to exercise of stock options by certain employees.

Post the allotment, the paid-up equity share capital of the corporation would stand at Rs. 314,30,77,420 consisting of 157,15,38,710 equity shares of Rs 2 each.

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.6, or 0.05%, to settle at Rs 1,134.20. The total volume of shares traded was 69,344 at the BSE (Monday).
