Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals disclosed a marginal rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 2.24% to Rs 1,034.70 million from Rs 1,012.00 million in the same quarter previous year. Net sales for the quarter declined 10.22% to Rs 13,093.90 million, compared with Rs 14,584.00 million for the prior year period. Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 2.60, registering 2.36% growth over previous year period.
