GPT Infraprojects, the flagship company of the GPT Group, said Monday it has secured projects worth Rs 1.09 billion.

The company bagged order worth Rs 813 million for construction of bridge over river Katakhali at Hasnabad for linking Taki Road (SH-2) with Hasnabad Hingalgang Road (M.D.R) in the district of north 24-Parganas, West Bengal under Barasat Highway division No. 1. The project needs to be completed in 24 months.

Moreover, the company bagged another contract worth Rs 282 million for foundation substructure and superstructure of major bridge No. 21 and bridge No. 25 on well foundation between Kaurahi-Kusheswar Asthan in connection with construction of new line project between Sankari-Hasanpur Road in joint venture with Hari Construction and Associates. The project needs to be completed in 18 months.

Shares of the company gained Rs 1.2, or 0.98%, to trade at Rs 123.20. The total volume of shares traded was 3,973 at the BSE (11.57 a.m., Monday).
