Essar Oil announced a sharp rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2015. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 53.84% to Rs 10,630.00 million from Rs 6,910.00 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenues for the quarter declined 34.26% to Rs 163,400.00 million, compared with Rs 248,550.00 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 9.55 percent as compared to 4.65 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 15,600.00 million, compared with Rs 11550 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 7.32, registering 53.78% growth over previous year period.
