Escorts Agri Machinery Segment (EAM) sold 3,430 tractors in July 2015, a fall of 20.5% from 4,317 tractors sold in July 2014. Domestic sales in July 2015 stood at 3,362 tractor against 4,126 in July 2014. Export for the month of July 2015 stood at 68 tractors against 191 tractors in July 2014, registering a drop of 64.4%.
In last month, the company has sold 6,238 tractors, a fall of 6.7% from 6,689 tractors sold in June 2014. Domestic sales in June 2015 stood at 6,139 tractor against 6,349 in June 2014. Export for the month of June 2015 at 99 tractors against 340 tractors in June 2014.
Shares of the company gained Rs 1.85, or 1.32%, to settle at Rs 141.65. The total volume of shares traded was 161,314 at the BSE (Friday).
