Balrampur Chini Mills, an India-based integrated sugar manufacturing company, have decided to commence crushing operations for the season 2014-15 of all the sugar mills of the company at the earliest. This decision was taken after the announcement of sugarcane price and certain relief by the U.P. Government.
Earlier, the company's net loss for the quarter ended September 2014 narrowed to Rs 639. During the quarter, net sales rose 20.11% to Rs 6,826.10 million, compared with Rs 5,683 million for the prior year period.
Shares of the company gained Rs 0.6, or 0.97%, to settle at Rs 62.55. The total volume of shares traded was 262,620 at the BSE (Monday).
