Ashok Leyland, the commercial vehicle manufacturer, has reported an increase of 41% in sales in June 2015 to 10,461 units as against 7,411 units sold in the same period of last year. The company experienced a rise of 46% in its M&HCV products segment to 8,048 units in June.
The company's large commercial vehicle (LCV) witnessed a rise of 26% to 2,413 units in June.
Shares of the company gained Rs 1.6, or 2.21%, to settle at Rs 74.10. The total volume of shares traded was 1,903,510 at the BSE (Wednesday).
