The market is likely to open flat with a positive bias following lead by other Asian markets, according to SMC Global. Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Transport corporation of India and Bombay Dyeing will announce their results today.
As per provisional figures, foreign institutional investors (FIIs)/ Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 2.11 billion on May 22, 2015. Domestic institutional investors bought shares worth Rs 2.37 billion on that day.
Asian markets remain positive as China further eases stock market regulations and on improved Japanese data. US stocks lost as oil prices and other indicators still not indicating strong recovery of the global market.
